Collection and recording of general information

When you access our website, there are information of general nature collected and recorded. Of course, we will always provide you with information on the data that we have saved about you. Upon your request, we will rectify or delete this information as long as this won’t violate legal provisions (e.g. obligation of safekeeping). Newsletter

The data that you provide us with when subscribing to our newsletter is only used for this purpose. Subscribers can be informed about circumstances that are relevant to the newsletter service and the subscription via email (e.g. general changes of the newsletter or technical conditions).

For an effective subscription, we need a valid email address. To verify that the subscription was actually done by the owner of the email address, we us the so-called double-opt-in method. There, we record the subscription request of the newsletter by you, the sending of a confirmation email to you and the receipt of your positive reply to this confirmation email via another email. We do not save other data.

You can revoke your consent regarding the saving and use of your personal data for the Newsletter at any time. On top of that, there is a corresponding link in every newsletter email. If you use the contact form on our website, we will save the information you provided only for the purpose of answering your request and possible follow-up questions. Personal data saved in this context includes the data that you entered into the contact form: such as name, address, sex, company name, as well as contact information like phone number and email address.

 

Erasure and blocking of data

We follow the principles of data avoidance and data minimization. We only save personal data as long it is necessary to meet the purposes given above or meet the multiple legal retention regulations. After the respective purpose ceases respectively retention periods are over, we routinely delete or block the data.

We sometimes embed Youtube videos on our website. YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA is the operator of this plugin. When you visit a page with the Youtube-Plugin, a connection with the Servers of Youtube is established automatically. By this, Youtube gets to know what pages you are visiting. If you are logged into your Youtube account, Youtube is able to match your recent surfing behavior to you. Just log out of your Youtube-Account to prevent this.

When a Youtube video is started, Youtube uses cookies to collect information on user behavior.

Those, who have deactivated cookie saving for the Google Ad Program, don’t have to reckon with such cookies when watching Youtube videos. However, Youtube also places non-personal usage information. You have to disable cookies in your browser to prevent this.

Google reCAPTCHA

To prevent the forms on our website being attacked by automated spambots, we use the service reCAPTCHA of Google Inc. (hereinafter: Google). This service helps to decide whether it is a natural person or an automated computer program entering information into our forms. The data that is transferred to Google for this purpose includes: Referrer URL, the behavior of the user on the website, IP address, operating system, browser, display information, length of stay, scripts, cookies, as well as entry behavior and mouse movement of the user in the reCAPTCHA box. Your right of access, rectification, blocking, erasing, and to revoke

At any time, you have the right to access your personal data that was saved by us. You also have the right of rectification, blocking, or, expect for mandatory data retention for business processes, erase your personal data.
